vw golf combined hub and disk.....

I believe some golfs came with a combined hub and disk on the back to run on a plain stub axle using taper bearings?

Can anyone tell me which golf this was? What size the disk was? and finally what shape the stub axle was? (please dont say round)

Cheers!

I havnt come across disks like that... but the 6N polo (circa 1995) had the drums with bearing races pressed into them...
