can anyone suggest wha good price is to pay for a set of 5 in a need a coat of paint condition???

as above and...

Real ones have a flat seats for the nuts and are a little lighter in weight I think. You can also tell by the bulkiness of the rims around the spokes and nut holes, the real ones have a lot less material. RS just tend to command a bit more of a price, particularly in good nick. The old ford guys seem to pay a lot for um!

I'm prepared to be corrected but assuming v.good nick in both cases I'd guess:

Lasers: £50-100
RS: £200

Sounds fair. I paid £50 for my laser rims and another £120 to have them blasted and powder coating.

I got 5 lasers, 5 rostyles and a capri propshaft for £35.00 locally, and they are REALLY cheap on ebay

Theyr not worth alot. Iv seen capri ones round here for less than 50 a set that arnt in bad nick. Theyr normally advertised as rs wheels.

I brougt one off the bay for £12 plus carriage.

That turned out to be mis sold as RS.

The seller gave me back my money for wheel and told me to keep it as she had been misinformed as to what wheel it was.

I brought my 5th (spare) at a School car show two summers back for £25.

i bought a set for 70 quid including usable tyres.

Previously i've bought rims without tyres for 10 quid a rim.
