Quick release mechanisms
I have spied these on eBay, and wanted some thoughts on which to go for:

Any others I should be looking at? I don't want to go mad with cost, but still want something nice and secure, with no freeplay (hence no hex
types above).

I'd go for the first one IMO!
I specifically wouldn't go for the third one due to the pathetic postage costs (is this done to avoid ebay fee's?) Or try that one, and
get a Locoster to "collect in person"

I just ordered myself a snap off one, (with the key to lock it in place)

You need the "snap off" boss that is no longer made anymore. The boss features a key that cannot be removed from the boss until it is
locked. If you attached your ign key to it there is no way you can start the car until the boss is secure!

Ive got one like the sparco one. Its perfect. Positive fit, will only go on one way, and gives you confidence so that a reoccurence of Bi22les
rather unfortunate incident wont happen to me.
Kindest Regards,
Richard.

I contacted the "snap off" manufacturer and they had 3 left in stock with key, so ordered one.
THey still make them now but without key I think
