Update piccys - handbrake problem
Had to turn the car round today so i could weld the brackets for the handbrake cable and thought ad take a few piccys (and yes i knwo the tyre is flat
).
One problem i do have is that the handbrake isnt working. I cant seem to pull the lever hard enought to even reach the first click. Im assuming there
is too tight bend in the cable. How tight bend is ok?
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

are you sure the tyre is flat?
Must be the weight of the engine.

Wow... that is indeed a large boot! Could it be classed as a Locost estate?

The boot looks mahooooosive from that angle. I have another pic which it looks big in too. Im hoping with the wheel arches, it shouldn't look
too bad.
The girl btw is my sister and she cant cook to save her life

It's for loading the lead ballast to ensure a 50/50 weight distribution

clever idea for different widths. is that for really good right handes and really easy drifting in left handers

You need a generous radius on handbrake cable bends or they do tighten up significantly. I don't know what a minimum figure would be, perhaps 7
or 8 inches at a guess. If you can take a pic of the bend I'm someone could say whether it's likely to be a problem.

Here's me worrying about being personal with a 'that's a rather large rear end' type quote, and I've been beaten to it
on several occasions
BTW, tyre shouldn't be a problem as it's only flat on the bottom....now, where did I put me coat...
