do tyre have a sell by date?

or do they get worse? if that makes sense ive got a set a A048 on a spare set of wheel that came with the car they had been on the car which was sat for a year since then they have been in my shed for a year, will they still work ok? as they have a fair amount of life left in them

Dunno if it's different for car tyres, but bike tyres are only recommended for up to two years after manufacture. I doubt that stops a lot of people. The manufacture date is printed as a 4 digit code, first two digits are the week number, the last two are the last two digits of the year.

As I said, dunno if it's different for car tyres.

Usually old tyres tend to show cracks in sidewalls or in between treads. I have signs of this on mine. If so usually best to replace with new.

il have a look at them over the weekend soo what there like,

on another note, people who use r888 on there cars how long do they last?
