Random Sierra/Cortina upright question

Can you run sierra/cortina uprights back to front (IE with the steering rack in front of the axle line)?
I'm guessing not cause it would crap up the ackermanns, but I'm grasping at straws here! Any chance of making adapter plates?
I've had enough of the bloody Rx7 Hubs I was planning on using! Also can't situate the rack behind the axle line without interfering with the engine

cortina ones are normally in front of the axle anyway, so yeah, fine.
sierra i've never really looked at, but seeing as its rwd, if they were behind the axle, the rack would be in the way of the engine, so i'm pretty sure they both go in front

so yes, thats where they're supposed to go

Head Slap! Bloody hell, how did I miss that? I think my brain may well have just melted out of my ears
The disturbing thing is I was looking at that earlier!
Cheers for answering the stupid question
