brake light switch
how sensitive are brake light switches the ones that fit into the top of the master cylinders?
im looking to use one in the clutch side of things to wire for my full throttle gear change and that seems a very good and easy way around mounting it
other than a normal on off switch

BEC or CEC ?
If BEC no good on clutch pedal, you wont be using it ?
If CEC I'm off to get me coat.

Educated guess i`d say not sensitive enough.
A better option would be a very sensitive pressure switch (or pressure sensor
), or microswitch on the clutch pedal.

would it not be better on the throttle linkage at the carb or the gear shift linkage???
just because you are a character, doesnt mean you have character....
for all your bespoke parts, ali welding, waterjet, laser, folding, turning, milling, composite work, spraying, anodising and cad drawing....

the problem i have is mounting the switch
i have floor mounted pedal box so cannot fit it where it is on the front as omex want,
if i fit it on the rear they dont have enough travel on the switch, it will max out on the switch before the pedal hits the stop if that makes
sense,
trying to get my head around it

Can you fit one at the clutch lever end of things ?
eta what about a n/c switch ? That would be quick to ?

im hydro clutch, so no arm

normally closed, fitted so your pedal holds it open, the moment pedal is pressed it closes itself, would be very quick, could be floor mounted on a
small striker bar ?
