Ball Joint/Upright question - last one I hope!
Ok basically I have a pair of late model RX7 uprights I'm planning on using (since I need the 5 stud 114.3 PCD). Unfortunately the balljoints on
this car are built into the wishbones, meaning I can't just go out and get more.
I'm hoping that someone on here would be able to tell me if there is a ball joint with a taper of dimensions 18mm base, 16mm tip with a height
of 16mm commercially available. The overall length must be somewhere in the region of 50mm above the socket. Alternatively a balljoint with a larger
taper I could bore out to!
Failing this extremely long shot it leaves me using a spherical bearing on the lower and a specially turned insert.
Cheers guys, like I said hopefully the last pain in the arse question!
Well for a while at least hehe

If you go to a motor factors you may be able to buy replacement ball joint separately without the wishbone.
