please help! does anyone have any pictures on how the front and rear brakes are piped up! my build is a chris gibbs locost im using ford sierra front and mazda mx5 rear (discs all round)with two seperate marster cylynders and bias bar. do you use a t piece on the copper brake pipe to split the brake lines? also does this t piece plit near the marster cylinder or nearest the brake callipers. please help as all of the mechanics im asking havent got a clue with this being a kit car build.

Dual master cylinders - If they are different sizes then smallest usually goes to the front.

The t-pieces can be located anywhere which is convienient for you.

Remember to run your pipes so that they are easy to secure to the chassis.

Hi you can see the tee to split mounted on the bottom rail the one in the vertical pipe feeding the rear is to mount the hydraulic brake switch

The rear split at the back I have a De Dion but the principle is the same and then finishes in brackets then changes to flexis.

BVT that unsupported front brake pipe crossing an open gap is not a good idea, a friend was failed for similar at a pre-SVA MOT years ago.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
