16/53-13 slicks, 13" wheels and sierra running gear
My Indy has sierra front calipers and 9" rear drums. Are there likely to be any clearance issue with this setup with 13 inch wheels, or is it
mainly rear calipers that cause issues?
Also, the 16/53-13 slicks according to michelin will fit 5.5-8inch wheels. I'd ideally like some 6J or 7J (seen Fiesta pepperpot and Fiesta
Supersport 4 spokes go on ebay), but the most common ones with the right FWD offset seem to be 5.5J. What difference will I notice if any using them
on a 5.5 rim instead of a 6 or 7?
Thanks, Simon

I dont kmow if they'll fit your car or not, but I had a pal ran those wheels (5.5J fwd Fiesta) on a Westfield with 16/53 slicks, and they worked
well, His car was a fairly powerfull 2 ltr VX, and it was a little squirrely at the rear, but I think they'd be OK with blade power.

I have those slicks on a set of 6J on the front of my westfield and they work well, however I'd say they're a bit skinny for the rear.....

Simon, where abouts in leeds are you?
Just changed my Indy off 15" to 13". Can't remember what the offset is on the 13's, but they're off a Capri Brooklands 7
spoke on slicks. I am just off the Ring Road at Moortown if you want to have a shuffty.

I've got them on 13x5.5 on the front and they aren't really ideal. The sides of the tyre are pulled around so the contact patch
isn't flat. I've got them on 8s on the rear and they're much better. They're run on 8s on Formula Renaults.
