sierra brake picture
Hi any body got pics of sierra drum brakes need to know how shoes springs fit etc cheers

Here's one
Sierra Drum
Duratec Engine is fitted, MS2 Extra V3 is assembled and tested, engine running, car now built. IVA passed 26/02/2016

I feel sore thumbs and swearing coming on... Getting them back together is a PITA..
Haynes manual has some good photos, few "copys" on the web in PDF..

it does worry me cos thats what mine looks like off my locost it has the cylinder on the back.

Looking at your's big vee..
I would say the bottom spring spring is the wrong way round
and should sit in the gap between the shoes,not rub on the shoe
Might be wrong thou

jossey's pic looks like mk3 cavalier/astra/calibra.
you can see the caliper hanger at the top. the handbrake acts as a drum brake in the bell of the disc.
