Brake line brackets

Where you terminate the hard line and join to the flexi lines, on tintops there is normally a bracket and a spring clip... What do people normally do on locosts and the like? I dont overly fancy filing 4 out of 2mm sheet tbh!

I use 2mm ali strip 20mm wide from B&Q costs a few pounds, cut bend drill fit see below
