push across and up so the lever is next to first gear

I've been having a similar problem, but i found its up left, and you have to do it really hard to engage it.

Why do the instructions say remove the stop?
Reverse should be over to the left and forward

i'm guessing you have to remove the stop because the standard lever has to be pushed down to get reverse, i guess the remote doesn't have
the facility to make that bit work?

Made mine following the information on David Jenkins site , cost a whole £0.92 , converts the lever to a quick shift AND has the reverse stop working
correctly! So why can't the Westfield extension costing fifty times more work properly?
