shocks? good bad and ugly?
ok sorry if this has been done before, Im currently building the back end for my trike and had been planning on running a pair of bike shocks on the
back, but generally they arent strippable and the ones that are, do not have much in the way of variety of springs etc
I have seen GAZ ones in a few places about £60 each, I only need 2
Im really wanting them as slim as possible will be going down to the bottom wishbone with it so want to have some room.
I have seen negative comments regarding these, is this just certain models? or maybe older ones?
seen protek? mentioned in a magazine any suppliers of these that can be recomended?
I dont have a lot of money, but what I do spend needs to be spent wisely, I cant afford to buy and then have to replace soon after
heavy is good, heavy is reliable, and if it breaks, hit them with it

Protech are probably the best value for money and not too expensive.
Cheers,

+1 for Procomp - really knows his stuff (and can probably advise on spring rates too)
