I have a few local friends active in the stock car scean. Some have seen the preview and say its very good.

watched it with my brother in law who used to race formula 1 and hot stox himself , and thought it good for starters!

good to see stock cars on the box at last, used to race mini's with both andy & frankie ( and beat them LOL )

is the rivalry really that 'bad'?

From what i've seen so far, I'm with the Smiths from Lancashire, the Yorkshire women ......... sheeeesh!

(although in reality i'm supporting the hairdresser cause he's currently less than a mile from where i'm sat and you have to support your local lad).

don't think so, think it's been hyped up for tv, you're all for your self on the track, but not in the pits

^ i've seen stock car racing in america where the pit crew of one team ran out on the track after the race to beat the crap out of one of the other drivers...

it has happened, but usually will get a hefty ban, anything up to 1 year, so not advisable
