Few cars would have come away from that kind of impact very well. I've seen a picture of an Audi RS6 literaly ripped in half after hitting a tree.

That first pic is horrific (I'm assuming that's one car not two), the car looks as if its been in a guillotine. Find it hard to believe someone could walk away from that unscathed, looks as though the post has gone through it near the drivers knees, that doesn't look too good for the driver.

The car in the top picture was owned by a Dutch actor / singer. That picture was taken a few years back and we can only think that the car was rebuilt.

Impact is passenger side so driver may have been OK. Still a hard whack though!

i like how in the RS6 photo, the metal is completely twsited and ripped up, but the wires are holding strong!

He was quite lucky, the drivers seat looks virtually untouched, had there been a passenger in the car i dont think they would have had much of a chance!

I seem to recall reading that the RS6 looked like that after the fire-brigade had cut it in 2 to get to the occupants. I'm assuming that wasn't the case for the 7 though!

Hello,

the Audi was not cut by the fire brigade.
The guy was alone in the car and totally safe.
That was a good day to buy a ticket in the national lotery.

I once saw a Calibra ripped in two... lengthways!

Unfortunately the 'tear' was right along the drivers side...
