suspension setup

Hi, been playing with setup over summer, ride height etc front springs, rear springs, was running 120lb rear, 320 front, rear was getting coil bound 2 up, so changed to 170lb, allowing for camping gear etc. now fitted 250lb to front as ride seemed harch on runs to coast (100 miles ish), have spax coilovers on front, rear are diy as i built my car wrong at the rear and cannot get bolt out top mounting, so i have a thread turned on shocker shaft, whitch screws into top mounting (clear as mud) , thinking of speaking to Mat at procomp when he is better to see if he can do anything with protech shocks for next spring and full suspesion set up. when we set up the shockers is it 2 thirds of shaft showing at rest, as i belive im hitting bump stops on rear, any help appreciated, trying to make it a bit softer for the rest of the summer (if there is any left), thanks Andy
