Suspension bushes and bolts
Following on from my previous thread here it looks like I am going to have to
follow Richard's advice and use an angle grinder with 1mm disc to cut through the bolts. That will also cut through the rubber bushes and crush
tubes, so my question is where is a good place to get replacements? Are they off the shelf type things I can get at a motor factors?
Also, is there a standard size/spec for these things or do I just have to measure and go and ask for something to fit?
Help gratefully received. Thanks

Depends; could be any thing not sure what ST used? Are they rubber or poly?

Either grinding disc or if you have a compressor an air hacksaw's best (finer cutting blade and more controllable).
Then look at www.bonaprene.co.uk who sell Polybushes. They have a chart for sizes - widths, diameters etc.
My F27 ones came from a Freelander part no 1XP - not partic. cheap but improved the handling no end.

Simon, air hacksaw is best bet - however, if you haven't got access to one & can't get a 4 & 1/2" or 5" thin disc in
there without doing damage, you MIGHT be able to cut off each end of the bolt from the outside & then open up the C bracket sufficiently to get
the remainder out where you can then deal with it on the bench & use some heat without damage to the chassis. Best of luck!

Thanks for the replies chaps. I have a 1mm disc for the angry grinder so I will see if I can get in with that first.

OK... 3 grinder discs later and I've got the b@5tards off 
Discovered they are poly bushes and decided to get them from Aries Motorsport (since it's a Stuart Taylor) so there should be no problem about
fitting them  . Should be here in a couple of days.
Now I just need to get the trailing arm welded up.
