What margins for wheel offset on aSylva Pheonix- Escort RS2000 uprights
15" - 6.5 wide 195/50/15
What would be the minimum offset. Can any kind of spacer be used?

I think they're designed for ET18(Peugeot standard) like the Fury. I can get ET35 on mine. You can use spacers to get away with someting
different but you'll probably need longer studs.

I didn't realise Sylva used Cortina uprights, I thought they were either Escort or Sierra. How old is your car?

Sorry your correct and I was browsing ebay bits at the time hehe.
Escort RS2000 uprights on the front and I think Sierra on the back.

Not a simple question because it depends on how you have fitted the bodywork.
But, I have 13x6inch compomotives that have ET19 (standard old ford fitting). In 13inch they could stick out a bit further (maybe 8mm) without
extending too far beyond the bodywork. Too far is subjective and stylistic. I have the same wheels in 14inch, and these fit too, but are very close
to the bodywork on the front inner area of the wheelarch.
At the rear it is more complicated with small wheels, as there is the potential to clash with the lower wishbone. This forces you to push the wheel
out with spacers (between the hub carrier and upright works nicely). It wasn't possible for my wheels to not foul, and to be within the plan
of the bodywork (as required by SVA) so I had some different wheels for that test. 15inch wheels are easier, so on that basis, without any spacers I
think ET19 on a 6inch would work. This is a standard Ford spacing.
It is difficult to predict though. Do you have the chance to try a few wheels out and measure, there are just so many variables.
Spacers are available, and are cheap.

p.s. mine is a square tube chassis, with RS2000/capri mk3 uprights, and alloy hubs. At the rear I have Sierra IRS.
At the rear these same wheels were too wide to meet the SVA requirement

Got a chance on some nice Team Dynamics 6.5J - 15" - ET 38
Do you think these would be OK?
