Cleaning up cortina uprights
What's the best way to clean up front uprights, hubs and calipers. The ones I have are servicable, but are in need of a good clean!!!!

I've soaked parts in malt vinegar before which worked very well (chuck them in on a Sunday night, agitate a few times through the week and by
the next weekend they'll be ready for a quick wash off and the job's a good 'un).
I've heard that molases will do the same job, and probably won't make you gag and choke on your own vomit so much as opening the lid on a
week old gallon of malt vinegar will...
