De-chroming

Rear wishbones on my motor are starting to look a bit scabby now after 22 years, currently in chrome I'd like to get them powder coated in black.
I have been led to believe the best way is to take them to someone who does chroming and get them de-chromed?

Anyone know anywhere in the Bradford area where I can get this done "locost"

i not used em but these may be worth a try

Keighley Powder Coating Company Ltd
Unit 5 Thwaites Bridge
Parkwood Street
Keighley
West Yorkshire. BD21 4NQ

or I belive there is a company near the corner of South St / Worth way sure I saw a sign about shotblasting or powdercating when picking up a curry from shimla spice

as long as they can shot blast of the chrome off they should be ok ( but not sure )
