Best way/tips to git a inner diff CV boot

Have just seen a video using a cone to fit a CV boot. My diff to driveshaft boot has a little split so I want to replace.

Ideally, detach the driveshaft diff ed and fit a new boot.I am very put off by dismatling the driveshafts and lobro/cv joint so would like to avoid if possible

If you have lobros it's just one circlip to slide the joint off it's splines. Much easier than the cone method. Tripode joints are a whole different ball game though!

Bought a cone to do the CV on my Clio the other week, you need a stretchy boot, but it worked ok, my only concern was the seal to the drivehaft itself was quite loose, but a cable tie soon tightened it up ok.
