Fitting eye bolts of harness question

I have a tiger avon factory built so it has the mounts ready in the chassis. The only problem is that it is not threaded and is far too long and difficult to get to to try and fit a nut to the end. I have the luke 4 point harness... Should I just weld the eye bolts in or does anyone have a fairly easy solution to this...

i have a chassis from SHP, was used for racing, and has eye bolt type loops welded to a tube of the roll cage behind the seat, i'm going to keep that. IVA manual only really says that if a threaded bush is used, it must be welded both sides of the tube. doesn't say that an eye bolt can or can't be welded...

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

I would not weld it you might weaken it and change the temper (?) of the eye bolt as it will be hardened..
