Cortina Upright taper dimensions

Does anyone know them?

I could measure but not particularly accurately.

Cheers, Adam

WOW I actually got the search function to work!

Seems to say 8:1 taper is standard for ford. Can anyone confirm this?

I was just searching google for the exact same data and ended up back here.

I'm actually trying to work out how to fit a Lower front wishbone with a 5/8" UNF rod end to a Cortina upright by using some sort of tapered insert.

Does anyone sell such a thing (or similar) or have a drawing to make one up?

I'll draw one up in a bit. It'll be to use a 1/2" bore rod end but you can get 1/2"x5/8" rod ends quite cheaply.
