Help with getting diff parts

Hi,

I have decided I hate diffs!

There are so many bloody types it's annoying. After crawling on my back last night and getting covered in oil it appears I have a 1600 cortina axle based on Koln diff components, that's fine it's not for a race car just the little Falcon so not interested in LSD's etc tbh the cars probably more fun without one

What I would like to do is fit a new crown wheel and pinion or one that is in good nick. I know motorsport prefer the atlas but I'm happy with the one I have so long as its in good condition.

Can anyone help with parts or know a sorce?

Thanks

I have a CWP (3.77) that I took out of my Tiger when I swapped it for a 4.1 ratio.

It is just the bare crown wheen and pinion gear, no diff etc.

Hi, yeah I was considering giving you a U2U before about that as I noticed a post in 2005 about you finding a LSD for you axle

Would sure be interested in buying the cogs off you

U2U me on how much you'd want for it

Thanks

That does look just like my casting with the offset cover bolts but my crown wheel has pitting from rust

That was the axle I bought for the Quaiffe LSD. It was vertually new but had the 3.77 cwp so I swapped it for the 4.1 .

I can get you some pics in a bit. Not sure on price...make me an offer?.....but I guess postage might be steep?

Mark
