MGF hub bolt size

Need to strip some MGF driveshafts, but haven't a socket large enough. Anybody happen to know the size I need? looks about 1 1/4" in old money with teh verniers

That would be about 32mm in new money.

IIRC the old Metro hub nut was 1 5/16" , as the MG uses a lot of Metro parts its likely to be the same . Should be easy enough to measure
