Need shorter brake master cylinder
Having just changed to bike carbs I`m a bit worried about the clearance between the end of the carbs and my brake lines where they screw into the
master cylinder. Under hard cornering I`m concerned the slight engine movement could cause contact between the carbs and master cyclinder. Has anyone
used a shorter length master cylinder to improve clearance isues and if so from what car? I will need 3 take offs for 3 brake lines. Thanks,
Nick

I`m not exactly sure what the current brake cylinder is off, possibly early Sierra? I`ve attached some pics with current dimensions. If I can find
something about 150mm long or shorter measured from the back of the mounting plate to the furthest point that would be ideal. Currently it sticks out
190mm. The gap between the carb and one of my brake lines is maximum 5mm so I don`t really want to snap this off whilst out driving!

Thanks for adjusting the pics `Bluemoon`.
It would seem I`m not alone with this problem. Having done some research many others with this problem have swapped to a Mondeo master cylinder.
Anybody fitted one of these and care to comment on fitment/performance?
