Suspension Travel in Bump

What sort of suspension travel are you folks seeing in bump?

Hi Liam,

As no-one else has replied here's my contribution.

The bump movement is reliant on the total travel available. For a seven type car the total travel will be around 100mm and bump will be 60-70% of that, leaving 30-40% as droop.

I think most 7 setups are aimed at around 3 inches of total damper movement, allowing 2 inches of bump, and 1 inch of rebound.

Put another way, the weight of the car compresses the suspension around an inch, giving a further 2 inches of movement.

Don't pay a garage to do them. You built a car for God's sake - I'm sure you can fit your own wipers!
