Are sierra and cortina/capri (m16) caliper mtg holes same spacing?
As the title really, are the later sierra/Granada etc calipers the same mount hole centres as earlier cortina/capri/mk2 Granada m16 calipers?
Reason for asking is have just discovered that early vauxhall (which is different to chevette onwards) are same as m16 ford, and I want some big cheap
calipers for our victor fe drift car, so if later ford are the same then Scorpio calipers it is!!

Totally different design , Sierra/Granada calipers are single piston sliding calipers , the slider/securing bolt use a 9mm thread where they screw
into the upright which also has the pad locating lugs on so even if the spacing is the same and you are able to make/locate some slider/securing bolts
it would be difficult to sort out locating the pads

you'd need to be able to keep the carrier/mounting bracket - it includes the pad guides and the slide pins are fixed to it
i.e. the red bit in this pic:
Granada Hub
the carrier has two tapped holes for M10 bolts (ford use grade 10.9) at 90mm centres and about 30mm from the mounting face to the centre of the disc
(discs are 24mm thk)
with the larger calipers (260mm disc ones) it takes up about this much space (ignore the 5mm spacers)
I've got a spare pair of rusty old 260mm disc ones if you need them - also a spare pair of cossie 4 pot ones (they are massive, but a bit
heavy)
