Needle Rollers needed....
Hi All
I'm treating my Clio RS to a lot of new parts - it had a full service history up to a point then got ignored I think!
I've stripped the driveshafts for new boots and cleaned and regreased CVs. But...
The inner end of the n/s driveshaft has a tripod joint into the gearbox. I had to remove this to change the boot but, unfortunately, I dropped the
joint and one of the tripods came apart, spreading the needle rollers across my garage floor. And, yes, I can't find all of them! The joint is
unmarked.
So, I'm looking for needle rollers! Rough measurement is 11.5mm by 1.8 (are there standard sizes?).
Does anybody know where I can buy these or find a bearing to cannibalise?
I could buy a new tripod from Renault but not at £104!
Regards
Wyn

Go to any bearing factors (yellow pages), take the remains of your old bearing and ask for the equivalent.
99.9% of all bearings are of an international dimension standard and each manufacturer uses their own codes for the same unit.
