Its a sad day :-(

Well my car is sold and gone

A little sad but it does mean i get to start my next project
I hope the new owner ch1ef(andy) enjoys it as much as i have and can take it onto the next level, in terms of style and power

It still has not sunk in yet that it has gone, wierd feeling

I've had these same feelings when I sold.

My first little Robin Hood.
My first Sylva.
The Ginetta.
My next Robin Hood.
The Locost.
The GTM K3
And very recently, the second Sylva.

I'll live though.

I loved having them all for various reasons, but ultimately, they're just cars.

I have a shed and some assorted bits of scrap metal, lets see what we can come up with.

I remember that feeling well when my buyer drove off down the road in MY car

I managed not to blub though - unlike my 4 yr old son who was in pieces about somebody else having "Daddy's racing car"!

know the feeling all too well, every bike, chop or trike I have built has sold within a max of 4 weeks, all because someone either offers a price I cant refuse, or in a couple of cases, I needed the money

have promised myself, and my lil girl that I will keep this current build, at least for long enough to take her to school and her mates can see her, so thats 6 weeks when they go back after summer hols, 1 week from being finished, so I need to break my record and keep something for 5 weeks LOL

trouble is that for me, its about building them, more than riding or driving

heavy is good, heavy is reliable, and if it breaks, hit them with it
