mx5 brakes

Hi i have 1.6 mk1 mx5 brakes at mo & looking at going to 1.8 as i'm told are much better. A'm i right in thinking the calipers are the same and all i need is carriers & disc? jon

You are indeed.

Just be aware that if you have all the parts marked up as nearside and offside, you need to swap the front caliper carriers n/s to o/s to keep bleed nipples at the top if using 1.6 calipers.

I've got a full set of Mk1 1.8 calipers, hoses, barely used discs, pads and spring clips from our track car if you're interested, as I've just built a 4 pot Wilwood kit for it instead
