torsion bars
got a bit bored the other day so i stripped the bac axle from a peugot 205
and had an idea
wot about usin the torsion bars for the front suspenison
either makin a bracket like the origanal mounting points on the wishbones and running the bar the length of the chassis
or have them running across the chassis and and connecting them up like u would an anti roll bar. was thinkin this way with a adjustable link and
different mounting points on the wishbone could give different spring rates (due to the futher out the wishbone u go the more movement u get)
and yes i do get very bored in work and come up with some stupid ideas

I did consider using an Alfa 75 as a donor, using the front torsion bars, these run behind the suspension and under the chassis. The downside is the
rear transaxle is so big, you would have to sit on it (probably need a 3' high windscreen)
