Raceleader Brakes

I've got the raceleader setup on the front of my mnr, with whatever pads were supplied, the brakes feel pants when it's pushed a bit, not like there fading, and it might just be that i'm not used to having non servo brakes and just need to man up, what pads are others using? do the pads match a road car?
