Steering Column Advice

The dimensions available inside the Fiat are going to be tight to say the least - Ive been playing on with the 2 columns I have (sierra & 126) to see what its going to look like.

The 126 column doesnt have a collapsible section, and is 390mm long, the angle on the UJ looks ok, but it going to be too shallow an angle to then accomodate the pedal box without off setting it too much away from the column centreline.

Any suggestions for a slightly longer column than the 126 one ? The sierra one is way too long.

thanks in advance

Good point - Ive got another one with ujs each end, which would work as you suggest better than the duffnut one. But it is still needing a longer column so I can put the intermediate shaft into a tighter angle to give more pedal clearance.

Theres too much offset of the pedals to the centre caused by the bottom of the column.
