Thanks Sam

I need a column length spline to spline between 510mm & 550mm max , as per the picture point "A" measurement. Any advice re a column would be greatly appreciated, as near as damn it will do .

A slightly longer column can be done, if I am able to cut it down.

In the picture the int shaft is a sierra one, its too long, so my intention is to use a longer column, the one in the pic is a the Fiat original @ 400mm

The UJ joints will get a steeper angle to deal with, if they dont then my passenger will be working the clutch for me.

I am using a Vauxhall Cavalier column which is around 550mm. Try something from a corsa/nova they might be shorter.
I can measure it properly tomorrow if you wish, drop me a u2u if you do.

Thanks for your help Spider, if the cavalier one is around 550mm thats all Im after, as compared to the sierra one I have 700mm & Fiat one at 390mm...

A simpler job.

Cannot wait to cut & shut it, to become a real Locoster....
