Wanted - steering box shim

Hi
Does anyone have an escort Mk2 steering box shim (from an old rack) that they are willing to sell? My rack is slightly too tight which is affecting the self-centring. Alternatively does anyone know of a supplier?

Thanks
Dave

Burtonpower? or make your own from shimstock from your local engineering suppliers.
Are you using a Sierra column? The column bush can bind affecting self steering. Mine improved vastly by fitting a self aligning bearing instead of the bush , cost about a tenner

Thanks for the suggestions.
I have already done the sierra column bearing mod and re-positioned the suspension brackets to make more castor (which made it center enough to pass the IVA), however a bit of detective work (ie disconnecting one thing at a time) has led back to the damper on the steering rack. If the damper plate bolts are loosened by a half turn the steering becomes light and centers strongly.
The rack was second hand when I got it so I assume the previous user altered the number of shims.
