More Brake Issues

Thanks to all the replies I got from the collective I sorted out my locking fronts by shortening the pushrod by a few mm. Now the Fiat MC seems to be doing a good job. But after a decent run out today to give the car a shakedown after so long off the road, the brakes are giving me grief again!

They were fine for about 20 miles or more, but on the way home I noticed that they were really down on effect and I really had to lean on the pedal to even slow down a little. When I got home it seems I only have rear brakes. So I stripped out the MC and noticed the pedal seemed to have a lot less resistance when pressed and then went solid. It seems that the front piston seemed to have not returned and the pedal was only working the rear piston.

I stripped down the MC, (it was a new one a few weeks ago), and after checking everything out, reassemlbed it and tried the pedal and all seemed fine. I have yet to bleed them and try again but can anyone give me any ideas what might be going on?

I have a feeling I am going to have to put my hand in my pocket and buy another MC and reservoir

It looks like the Midget is winning at the moment......
