Dunno... I'm entirely missing the point and the supposed attraction allegedly inherent in that advert.
Dumpy old guy, of frightening seagulls visage, parading on the beach, ultimately in full creepy Dean Martin drink in hand style
Clearly not gonna move many bottles of Comfort imo.
Dunno I think Bare and Dusty are completely missing the point of the advert.
IMO It's entirely about being comfortable in your own skin, not caring what others think and enjoying life the way you like it. And it makes me
smile because it's immediately shot down by judgemental folk.
Won't make me buy southern comfort (put myself off that when I was a teenager!) but I can appreciate it's slightly subtle message.

You have hit the nail on the head there, and I do like the add for it's subtlety.
I am still partial to the odd drop of SC (but prefer many more drops of a good single malt!).

Encouragig takng glass onto a beach is highly irresponsible imo
As a regular beach user I've no issues with taking the glass onto the beach. It's leaving it there or breaking it there that's the
issue and he does neither
