Leaking dampers
My car has Gaz shocks on it which were new two years ago, it's a rolling project and is not on the road yet. Two of the shock absorbers have
started to leak oil - I find this very strange for a new part that is basically unused, so I have two questions.
Should I have the shocks re built, buy better quality (any recommendations?) any other options?
And does anyone have any thoughts as to why these new parts failed, faulty, lack of use?
Any comments very welcome!

one of mine did it. like yours it had been unused sat for most of my build. spoke to mark at gaz and they fixed it foc took all of 15mins to sort
out. my experience of gaz as a nice company that stands by its products, it was over a year old but was clear it had never been used, so there was
no problem.
btw the car has been on the road 3 years now and not had a single issue with the shocks.
