Live rear axle

Hello to you all, this may be a 'newbie' type question BUT stupid questions are better and easier handled than stupid mistakes ! I have a rolling chassis I recently bought that came with a live disc braked Volvo axle ! I want to change to a Ford rear end ( so I get the same pcd front and rear) I have a Cortina axle but I need to weld on mounting brackets,is there a certain angle of nose up or nose down for the angle of the drive flange in relation to the brackets....TIA

I went to great lengths to get mine level as possible. There will be a slight variation as the axle moves as it's offset from the gearbox output but should remain parallel.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
