Escort rear brake self adjusting mechanism

My Striker is fitted with a standard English axle and therefore the 228 mm drum brakes. I am overhauling the stuff and sandblasted the backplate, cleaned the wheel cylinder etc. The brake self adjusting mechanisms are badly corroded however and I want to replace those for new ones. But, where to become ? Does anyone know a supplier for this piece of metal ?

The original supplier is Lucas/Girling.

You should try their aftermarket outlets first.

However; when I refurbished my 8" drumbrakes (from the same car & also made by Lucas/Girling) I couldn't get new self-adjusters - and I was designing drumbrakes for Lucas/Girling at the time!

So good luck

Yeah I know what it looks like - I just don't think you'll find anyone selling parts
