Anyone used an mgb diff?
Hi all, just wondering if anyone has used the diff etc from an mgb before Ive had a couple of the cars and have lots of bits left one of them not
bieng the diff as I sold it oops! But i though they are easy and cheap to get a hold of but im thinking they may be a bit on the big side. Thanks

MGB built Locosts have been built in the very early days there was a guy from the US used the complete drive train and front suspension. ISTR the
builder (Ken Walton) sadly died but pictures of his build should still be in the Yahoo group archives
The Salsbury axle fitted to all except the very Bs is very strong but narrow ISTR the wire wheel axle is narrower than steel wheel type.

I still miss Ken - one of the more 'unconventional' people I've had the pleasure of meeting but a top bloke with it!

Do you mean just the diff or the entire axle? The diff by itself wouldn't be much use unless it drops into a different axle.
