You used to be able to but it wasn't standard times and they weren't keen and charged extra. Don't know if yu still can, you'd have to phone VOSA and ask.

Just looking in to this and lead me to find that VOSA doesnt exist anymore - not under that name anyway.
Its now DVSA - Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency

When I did mine (2012), I got a Saturday booking for a re-test, but it cost an extr £15 on top of the £90 re-test fee. I did it because for the extra £15 I got a re-test within a week rather than having to wait anothe 4-6 weeks! Well worth it to me





It looks like the Midget is winning at the moment......
