Electric brake vacuum pump??
Does anyone know of a diesel car / van, which uses an electric pump for the brake servo? When I fit my ITB setup, I was thinking such a pump could be
a viable alternative to tapping the runners.

Unlike fitting a vacuum gauge for a servo you only need to tap one of the runners, just make sure the non-return valve is effective.

Most diesels run a mechanically driven vacuum pump.
Hybrids run a electrically driven pump for when the engine isn't running

Early petrol SAAB 9-5, around 1998/99 had electric servo vac pumps. May have only been the auto box models.
