Tyre and rim size

Hi all,

I'm about to order the rims and tyres for my Haynes roadster build. What are the best options? I was thinking about getting 195/50 15 or 195/55 15

Get your arches on ... work out your offset ... decide on your rim..

195/50/15 is the most common size so tyres are cheaper.

That's what I'm using

however a 13" wheel and tyre is the best option IMO alot better ride and reduction in weight

+1 13s are what you want. Most go for 185/60 on the front and 205/60 on the back. Rolling radius is not far off 195/50/15s and ride and handling are better.
