Suzuki GSX600F

1989 Suzuki GSX600F

I bought this about 18 months ago as semi-completed project with the intention of using it once completed but the realities of a new job have made me realise that I am never going to use it.

I have finished the bike bar putting it through an MoT but I am confident it would go through without much trouble.

The frame is good and rust free.
The fairing is good with some scratches, peeling laquer and small cracks.
The tyres are good with plenty of tread.
Chain and sprockets are good.

It starts easily with a bit of choke and once warmed rides really well, it pulls well in all gears. Everything works as it should.

In the last year or so I have;
Rebushed the front forks with new oil and oil seals.
Resealed all three brake calipers (2 front & 1 rear) and refreshed the brake fluid front and rear.
Serviced the engine, new spark plugs, engine oil and filter, cleaned the air filter.
Cleaned and re-balanced the carburettors.

It didn't have any wing mirrors when I bought it but found a correct pair in a local bike breakers but they really need spraying black, they are currently a deep maroon colour.

I know its not 4 wheels , but its certainly Locost and may appeal to all those who like the 'less polished' aspects of motoring.
£350.00 ono
Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire.

Forgot to add, it needs a new battery....
