english axle
looking for some advice , i have what i believe is a escort rear axle thats going up for sale can anyone confirm what i should be looking for to prove
it is an escort axle , are there any tell tale signs please?

If it is a Timken Banjo pattern (removable diff carrier) it can be visually quite difficult to tell it from a Hillman Hunter axle --- even the wheel
PCD is the same.

Yes is that type ? all i can gather from the plate is its a 3.89 to 1

ime was pretty sure the axle width is different
googled it
hunter is 50.5, escort is 48.5

just been and measured its 48.5 wide so must be an escort whats it worth ?

have a look on ebay and see how they do there
