Bespoke Hub Bearing Assy
I have a bit of a conundrum...
I'm changing my rear wheels to a pair with a different PCD. I don't want to use a PCD adapter as it will kick the new wheels out by at
least another 20mm and the car would then need bodywork mods.
As far as I can tell, there isn't an 'off-the-shelf' assy with the flange PCD, spline, and rim PCD that I need.
Basically, I want a hub bearing assy as per the SKF VKBA3514 (Vauxhall spline, Vauxhall 3-stud flange and Vauxhall 5 x 110PCD on the rim), but I want
it with the Vauxhall 3-stud flange, Vauxhall spline and a Toyota 5 x114.3PCD.
I've asked SKF and they can't do it for me (unless I want hundreds of them!).
Has anyone ever had one made to suit? If so, can you give recommendations for a machine shop that could do the biz and an indication of cost?
I guess another way of approaching the problem would be to get a pair of brake-disc bells made up (I'll be using 2-piece discs anyway) that
incorporate PCD adapter threads. That would swallow a few mm of track-width.

Just to ask the stupid question, what kind of hubs can you get with try he correct Toyota pcd ?
I'm just thinking it may be easier to adapt the suspension arm/upright to suit an off the shelf bearing/ hub....

I suspect that the Toyota / Vauxhall drive-splines will be different Robert.

Tiger used to do the 6 which had Golf front and Escort rear hubs. They just used to redrill the rear halfshaft flanges to 4x100 the same as the
front. is it not possible to do something similar here?

TVR used Jeep/Chrysler bolt on hubs which are 5x114.3, not sure about the splines.
Looks like a lot of hassle for just different wheels.

It is a bit of a pest, but I really like the wheels and its one part of the car that I don't want to compromise on.

Vauxhall Astra Mk6 J Coupe 9/2011- 2.0 163 bhp Diesel 16v Front Hub Bearing
These hubs have the same 3 bolt flange, and are 115mm pcd, that is 0.7mm different but standard toyota wheel nuts are flat washer type (hubcentric not
boltcentric with slight room for alignment so shouldn't be stressed as taper nuts would) and should be the same thread as the studs on these
hubs.
I think you might need to change your outer cv joints to astra j ones to match up the hub splines, but they should have a 26 spline driveshaft on both
and be a straight swap.
A trip to a friendly motor factor is in order to have a rummage and see what's possible.

Does that hub use studs or bolts? If they're pressed in studs, could you have the holes offset drilled in the 114.3 pattern and then use a
stud with a (at least) 2.15mm larger knurled section?

They use bolts, but the thought of converting to stud and doing as you mentioned did cross my mind.
