Help with hydraulic fitting name
Hi,
Been trying to sort out some power steering hoses and have got on not too bad. Going to order them on line as our local hydraulic hose specialist was
just dreadful and I ended up with £40 worth of a very poor solution.
I have a fitting which goes onto the HP side of the pump but it's a steel pipe on the donor and I want a 3/8 ID hose version but struggling to
identify the exact name or a part number, even though I know it's a M14 thread and have a picture off the web of a fitting that looks right but
is on an american site. It uses a small o-ring to seal the large flange. It also needs to be threadable i.e. not a solid hose end as I need to tighten
it up once fitted so the hose is not twisted.
Here is the original fitting to the pump -
Here's what I think the connection should look like -
Mild steel is just fine and I'm using 180 bar hose.
Anyone like to help out?
